One platform to design, build and own your digital workers.
Nx·Studio designs and tests digital workers. Nx IDE helps your engineers build and maintain the software around them. Both rest on the Foundation: four things that keep every worker checkable and yours.
Everything you need to design, build and own digital workers.
Nx·Studio designs and tests the digital workers. Nx IDE helps your engineers build and maintain the software around them. The Foundation keeps every worker checkable. What they produce, the workers, the code and the blueprints, is yours to keep.
From a description to a worker running on your systems.
Business teams design the worker in Nx·Studio. Engineers take it from there in Nx IDE. The finished worker runs on your infrastructure.
- Nx·Studio
Step 1: Describe
Explain a business process in plain English, or upload the documents you already use.
- Nx·Studio
Step 2: Design and test
Pick one of five designs, shape it on a canvas and test it on synthetic data.
- Nx·Studio
Step 3: Export
Download the complete application: code, tests and documentation.
- Nx IDE
Step 4: Build on it
Your engineers connect, extend and maintain the code with an AI assistant.
- Your systems
Step 5: Run it
Deploy on your own cloud or servers. There's no Nexgile runtime to depend on.
Four things every worker is built on.
AI models change every few months. What makes a digital worker trustworthy is everything around the model. Each part of the Foundation is something you can see or test for yourself, not a promise you have to take on trust.
Tested on synthetic data before anything real.
Nx·Studio generates test data shaped to each worker, like the invoices, claims or tickets it will handle, and runs the worker end to end in a sandbox. You see every step, tool call and cost. Built-in scenarios cover the happy path, missing fields, oversized inputs, unclear requests and failures, and you can compare two versions on the same scenario before changing anything.
Fixed decisions stay fixed.
Much of what a worker decides is policy, not judgment: limits, eligibility, routing and sign-off. Nx·Studio turns the rules you describe into rule steps that run as plain code, so the same input always gets the same decision and no prompt can rewrite them. AI handles only the unclear parts, and each worker's readiness score shows how much of it runs on rules.
Read what a worker will do before it runs.
A digital worker isn't a tangle of prompts. It's a blueprint of every step, rule and approval, which you can view as a flowchart, as a swimlane of who does what, or as the file itself. Compare versions, fork and merge them, and hand them to reviewers before deployment. The exported code runs that same blueprint file.
Check the no-lock-in claim yourself.
Every export is the complete application, including the runtime it needs, with tests, a Dockerfile and a security threat model. There's no Nexgile runtime, license check, meter or call home inside it, and your engineers can read every line to confirm that. Each export also carries a signed bill of materials and an offline script that checks the package is exactly what was generated.
Some decisions belong to people. Approval steps pause a worker until someone approves, rejects or edits: in the studio while you test, and in a reviewer inbox once the worker is deployed. You decide where they go, whether on confidence, risk or cost, or as a plain sign-off.
Watch a digital worker decide.
Most of a worker's day is policy, not judgment. When Nx·Studio designs a worker, the rules you describe become rule steps, the unclear parts go to AI, and the decisions that belong to people go to people.
Nine decisions queued from the worker's inbox.
Rule steps
Plain code, no AI call. Same input, same answer.
AI steps
The unclear parts, billed by your own AI provider.
People
Approval steps wait for a person to decide.
Illustrative scenario: one accounts-payable worker. The mix depends on the worker you design. Rule steps never call an AI model, and approval steps always wait for a person.
Rule steps make no AI calls, so routine decisions add nothing to your AI bill. AI steps are billed by your own provider, and every design shows its estimated cost per run before you build it.
How our pricing worksThe same input takes the same path to the same answer. When a policy changes, compare the old and new versions on the same scenario to see exactly what changed.
A rule step is plain code, so a clever prompt can't talk it out of policy. Approval steps wait for a person, and every worker is a readable blueprint your reviewers can check.
Read the Trust CenterSee exactly what changed between versions.
When a policy changes, your reviewers compare the old and new blueprint in plain language before anything is deployed.
- Intake: refund requests from email and chat
- Check: order history, payment record, prior refunds
- −Approval: every refund goes to one reviewer
- Escalate: unclear cases go to a person
- Intake: refund requests from email and chat
- Check: order history, payment record, prior refunds
- +Approval: refunds over $500 need two reviewers
- Escalate: unclear cases go to a person
Illustrative. Engineers compare versions like code, reviewers read them before deployment, and the exported worker runs the same blueprint file.
Whichever seat you're in.
Automate processes without giving up control.

Workers you can maintain
Nx·Studio exports ordinary Python with tests and a README, ready to work on in Nx IDE.
Read what a worker will do before it does it.
-
Read the blueprint first
Every step, rule and approval is readable before deployment, as a flowchart, a swimlane or the file itself.
-
People sign off
Approval steps pause the worker until someone approves, rejects or edits, with multi-person sign-off and no approving your own request.
-
Verify the package
Every export carries a signed bill of materials, an offline verification script and a security threat model.
-
Evaluate without production data
Workers are tested on synthetic data, so an evaluation can start from a description alone.
Your AI bill shouldn't be a guessing game.
Many AI platforms charge every time a worker runs. Nexgile doesn't. You pay us to design and deliver your workers, and there's no per-run fee or runtime license after that.
Inside each worker, rule steps run as plain code and make no AI calls. Only AI steps use a model, billed by your own AI provider on your account. Before you build, every design shows its estimated cost per run.
Because you run the code yourself, your Nexgile bill doesn't grow as your workers do more.
Our business model is the proof. We charge to design your workers, not to run them, so our incentives point at your independence. Ongoing help is optional, on your terms.
AI calls for rule steps
Rule steps run as plain code, so routine decisions never use a model.
AI steps
Billed by your own AI provider, on your account. Each design shows its estimated cost per run.
Nexgile fees per run
You run the code yourself, with no runtime license and no meter.
What the words mean.
The terms you'll see across this site, in one place.
- Digital worker
- Software that handles one business process from start to finish, combining AI steps, rule steps, approval steps and connections to your systems.
- Blueprint
- The readable, versioned file that defines a worker's steps, rules and approvals. The exported code runs this same file.
- Rule step
- A step that applies a fixed business rule as plain code. Same input, same decision, with no AI call.
- AI step
- A step that uses an AI model for judgment, such as reading a document or explaining an exception.
- Approval step
- A step that pauses the worker until a person approves, rejects or edits.
- Synthetic data
- Realistic, made-up test data generated for a worker, so you can test it without your production data.
- Connector
- A link to one of your systems, like SAP or Salesforce, that a worker reads from or writes to.
- Export
- The complete application Nx·Studio packages for you to run on your own infrastructure, without Nexgile.
Questions to ask any vendor, with our answers.
Take these into every evaluation, including ours.
Can we read what the worker will do before it runs?
Yes. Every worker is a readable blueprint of its steps, rules and approvals, and the exported code runs that same file.
If we stop paying, what keeps working?
Everything you've exported. Workers are standard code on your own infrastructure, with no license check, no meter and no calls back to Nexgile.
Can we get all of the source code?
Yes. An export is the complete application, including the source code of the runtime it needs, plus tests and documentation.
Does the bill grow when the volume grows?
Not with us. There are no per-run fees. AI steps are billed by your own AI provider, and rule steps make no AI calls.
Can a clever prompt talk the worker out of policy?
Not where a rule step decides, because a rule step is plain code. Decisions that need a person go through approval steps.
Can we test the worker before connecting a live system?
Yes. Every worker runs in a sandbox on synthetic data generated for it, with built-in scenarios for tricky cases like missing fields.
Does an evaluation need our production data?
No. Nx·Studio works from your descriptions and documents, plus synthetic data. You decide if and when to share sample data of your own.
Who approves what, and is that enforced?
You decide in the design. Approval steps pause the worker until the right person decides, and the exported reviewer inbox supports multi-person sign-off.
Can we verify the no-lock-in claim ourselves?
Yes. Every export includes a signed bill of materials and an offline script your engineers can run on their own machines.
